This week’s classic reggae show is a tribute to Gregory Isaacs as it will be 10 years this month since he passed. I’ve put together a mix of tracks from throughout Gregory's career including some requests from friends or the show. With just under two hours of Gregory's carer on the show this does not every touch his back catalogue which speaks of the artists contribution to music. Sad new that Toots passed this week and as he was very much of my teenage years and continued throughout my life. As such put out a live set on mixcloud Saturday night of Maytals songs. This mix includes tracks from throughout the career from early years and a rarity such as the Vikings (aka T&TM) and includes more recent and current releases.. Unfortunately when I put the live show on mixcloud last night I had not heard of Toots’ passing, a very sad loss to music.
